Mother Louise Mack was born August 26, 1919. She departed this life after a brief illness on Sunday,
July 11, 2004 at 6;15 a.m.
Mother Mack lived a full and complete life. She was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of
the Holy Ghost,Mother Mack joined Christ Temple Apostolic Church under the pastorate of the late
Bishop Stanley Halton where she remained an active member until her unexpected demise.
Mother Mack though visually challenged, could be seen each morning walking to church tor the early
prayer service. She would often catch the bus and travel throughout the city. Mother Mack had many
of the bus routes memorized.
In addition to early morning prayer, Mother Mack loved Sunday school and was in attendance until she
was unable to do so. While in the nursing home, Mother Mack gave testimony of God's goodness to
anybody that would listen. She told one of the orderlies of how God delivered her from a coma when
she was a young lady. She further told of how she was not supposed to be walking, but she is still
walking in the name of JESUS. Those of us who knew Mother Mack will sorely miss her.
In addition to the Christ Temple Apostolic church Family, Mother Mack leaves to cherish fond
memories of a special relationship: Bishop Gabriel Halton and Tracey Halton and special friends,
Cora Carr, Gloria McDonald, Phyllis McDonald, Donneth Baily, Faith Norris, Tracy Norris, and Evang.
Willabelle Lewis. Mother Mack will be especially missed by her primary caregiver, Rise Watson. In
the small space of time that God allowed them to be together, a relationship of mutual love and
respect was forged.
